Our gift shop is open every Sunday from 10am until 4pm for
honey tasting and sales. You can view the honey being extracted,
by appointment. Honey types available vary according to floral
sources at the time but we generally have 3 to 4 varieties
continuously. We do have Jarrah honey and we also make creamed
honey. Minimal heat is used in processing. Resulting in a product
as pure and natural as nature intended it.

Karakamia Sanctuary is part of the Australian Wildlife Conservancy,
a non-profit environmental organisation established to help save
our threatened species. Foxes and cats have been completely eradicated
from the sanctuary and a number of rare mammals have been re-introduced.
Visitors can experience the magic of Karakamia by participating
in a two hour guided dusk walk. Setting off along a bush track,
you are likely to see a number of nocturnal animals including Woylies,
Tammar Wallabies, & Quenda (Southern Brown Bandicoots). This
is a special experience, as many of the animals you will see cannot
readily be seen in a national park. Bookings are essential with
a minimum of eight and a maximum of twenty people.
Costs: $18.00 adults and $12.00 concession.

Lake Leschenaultia is a stretch of clean clear water specially set aside by Mundaring Shire for leisure activities. Canoeing, swimming, cycling, walking, bird watching and barbecues can all be enjoyed in this bushland park covering some 168 hectares.
With ample parking and plenty of space to spread out, sheltered tables, a kiosk and a cafe, the lake provides the ideal location for family get togethers and alfresco parties. Tent only camping sites are available by advance booking. The park is open every day of the year from 8.30 am. Booking Fee applies and camping charges. No dogs are permitted sorry!

Mundaring Community Sculpture Park

Located in Jacoby Street,Mundaring Community Sculpture Park is adjacent to Mundaring's Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, a walk and cycle track which follows the route of the old railway line, that ran from the city to the Perth Hills, and encompasses a network of parks and beautiful native bushland corridors.
Sculpture Park was developed by the Mundaring Bicentennial Community Committee in 1988 as a site in which visitors can enjoy and appreciate the recreational and cultural heritage of this unique area.
Shaded areas are available, with gas barbeque facilities and tables, together with a well equipped playground, public toilets, information boards and a series of specially commissioned sculptural works featuring some of Western australia's best know artists.
The small amphitheatre can be used for community events, summer concerts or as a meeting place. Munda Biddi off road cycle Trail has its origins in Sculpture Park and will eventually make its way to Albany in the South West.

The Mundaring and Hills Historical Society (MHHS) was formed in 1989 to preserve the natural and cultural heritage of the Shire of Mundaring. MHHS have operated the Mundaring District Museum since 1997 in the old Mundaring School building, which houses a permanent display about people, places and events of historical interest in the Shire. MHHS is able to assist schools and other groups in the organization of community-based historical events, compiling local history information and guest speakers.

The Perth Hills National Parks Centre, operated by the Department of Environment and Conservation (formerly CALM) and situated within Beelu National Park, is a great place to get information on exploring national parks in the Perth hills. There are many trails available from here, including the famous Bibbulmun Track (which passes through the middle of the Centre) and the close by Munda Biddi Off-Road Cycling Trail. Add to your forest experience by taking part in a fun Nearer to Nature activity for a true Australiana experience. Forest camping is available at reasonable prices.
Visitor Centre open 10.00am - 4.00pm 7 days a week, including public holidays.

The club was established in 1962 and is situated on beautiful
acreage in Hovea with lots of big, shady trees and spacious lawns.
The grounds are open to members 365 days a year and facilities
include the clubhouse and BBQ area, swimming pool and children's
area. Sports include tennis, badminton, volleyball, table tennis,
petanque and pool. Overnight accommodation is catered for by the
provision of camping and caravan sites and chalets for hire. The
club is affiliated to the Australian Nudist Federation and through
that organisation, to the International Naturist Federation.
