Hillborne borders on, with easy access, to the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, the KEP Track (walk, cycle., horse ride) and the National Trust Golden Pipeline Heritage Drive (Mundaring Weir to Kalgoorlie) and Alps Reserve. The cottage is perfectly situated for bush walkers, cyclists, and horse riders with numerous tracks and trails within a stone's throw of "Hillborne", about 5 mins drive, 15 mins cycle ride from Mundaring and 45 minutes from Perth. The cottage has very comfortable two bedroom accommodation with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two king singles. It has a fully equipped kitchen, sitting and dining area with TV, DVD player, and reverse cycle air-conditioning and a large veranda to enjoy the beautiful views over the valley and the spectacular glow of the last rays of the sun disappearing up the gum trees.
